Face Games is a collection of simple mood reading activities designed for children and young people with ASD. Activities are visual and simple enough to be used by people with non-verbal autism while still providing sufficient challenge to be useful for more able students.

30 photo-real face models of both genders, a range of ages and several ethnicities are used to demonstrate stereotypical facial expressions for Happy, Sad, Ashamed, Disgusted, Afraid, Shocked, Angry and Bored.

Games have several levels and are based on simple formats - memory pairs, find the odd one out and a flash card multi-choice quiz.

Success rates, timings and errors are recorded to provide assessment and diagnostic information for the professionals or parents who are supporting learners.

Face Games is intended to be used with support initially but most activities are suitable for independent exploration and drills once the app is familiar.
